Concessionary travel passes issued by your local council can be used on all these services after 9.30 am on weekdays and all day on weekends. These entitle you to free travel only if a valid pass is clearly shown to the driver at the time of boarding. A pass which is damaged or expired cannot be accepted by our machines and therefore you must pay the appropriate fare.
Aside from our regular bus routes, we also offer a range of transport services for schools, colleges and a selection of useful journeys for shopping and football matches. These include student runs to Churchdown School and Hartpury College.
This park and ride bus service operates on Gloucester Rugby match days only. It departs for the Kingsholm ground from outside the car park at British Energy, Barnett Way, Barnwood. The service starts two hours before the kick-off. Buses then depart every 15 minutes. The return service commences approximately 10 minutes after the final whistle and continues for approximately 2 hours.
We currently operate 8 vehicles from various areas within Gloucester to Churchdown School Academy. This is a pass operated service where each student is guaranteed a seat if they are in possession of pass. There is no ad-hoc facility on any of these routes.
